I did not begin as the person many people imagine when they picture a yoga teacher.My personal yoga journey taught me that yoga is not about forcing our bodies to fit a pose. Yoga is about learning how to make the practice support the body, mind, and spirit of the person who is actually present.That understanding became the foundation of Rose Temple Yoga School.Students in this accessible yoga teacher training will learn how to offer variations using a chair, bed, wall, or yoga mat. They will learn how to make thoughtful choices for older adults, beginners, larger-bodied students, people with limited mobility, and people managing chronic health conditions.They will also learn that honoring a limitation is not the same as failing. Choosing a chair instead of the floor does not make someone less spiritual. Modifying a pose does not make it less meaningful.This inclusive 200-hour yoga teacher training is not built around performance.
